Greenheck Adds Adjustable Curb Cap to Upblast Roof Ventilators
Equipment
Greenheck announced on August 18 that its Model CUE direct drive upblast power roof ventilators now include a configurable curb cap for sizes 060 to 160. The curb cap adjusts in one-inch increments to match existing curb dimensions. This eliminates the need for adapters when replacing older fans. The units also now offer a two-conduit option for electrical wiring runs. This removes the need to fabricate a second conduit chase in the field to meet code requirements.
For contractors doing retrofit work, this means fewer trips to the supply house for custom adapters. It also means less time cutting and fitting conduit on the roof.
Check if you have any upcoming roof ventilator replacements scheduled. Confirm whether the new configurable cap option could eliminate field modifications.
Key Takeaways:
- Curb cap adjusts in one-inch increments to fit existing curbs without adapters
- Two-conduit option available for code-compliant wiring without field fabrication
- Available in Model CUE sizes 060 to 160
