Apple announced on October 13 that it is releasing thermostats designed with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric as part of its new Apple Home Collection. The thermostats set up with one tap on an iPhone. They are controlled through the Apple Home app. A feature called Adaptive Temperature uses on-device intelligence to automatically adjust heating and cooling. It responds to whether someone is home, winding down for the night, or away. This eliminates the need for manual scheduling.

This gives contractors another smart thermostat option. They can offer it to customers who prefer Apple products and simple setup.

Contractors can contact their distributors to check availability and pricing. They can then decide whether to add these thermostats to their product lineup for residential installations.

**Key Takeaways:**

- Apple thermostats launch with LG and Schneider Electric, managed through Apple Home app
- Adaptive Temperature feature automatically adjusts climate based on home occupancy patterns
- One-tap iPhone setup eliminates complex programming for homeowners
